October 23, 2010 We had another great soap making class this weekend. The largest class to date! Eleven people showed up and made their own personal batches of "Cold Processed Soap". The ancient traditional method of soap making being passed on. I will have pictures of the class up soon! It was a blast! Thanks to everyone for coming.

I'm back from my Alaskan cruise and my business partner/Mom is off on hers!
Good news is that we will be able to start the soap making classes when she gets back. Just to give all of you a bit of a teaser on whats coming up with the classes. We are creating a real hands on course where each person will be able to make and fragrance their own individual batch of soap! That means each of you that takes our class will come away with over a pound of soap. Makes great gifts, especially with the Christmas and holidays just around the corner.
We are also playing around with classes on how to make lotions, essential oil perfumes and much more!
Keep checking back as I will keep you all informed here on whats happening!
PS: Its sunny here in Langely, WA and 70 degrees outside! Come and join me in the shop!

Just about done with the moving our factory/studio to its new location. What a relief! Took us a week and then some to move everything. Now we are ready to go back into production. Keep bearing with us as we will have everything ready to go for our soap making classes in about a month. Cant wait to get started!

Well, everyone its been awhile since I had a moment to write a bit here. We've been really busy! Good news - we're moving our studio in Clinton to larger quarters. Finally, we'll have enough room to teach our soap making classes - yippee!
We begin the move next week and will offer the first class in September. Keep an eye on our website, I'll post the class schedule here. I'll also send an email to those of you who have signed the guest book in our retail shop. Thank you for your patience.
On a more personal note, I just learned how to intentionally roll my kayak. I attended a class taught by Maligiaq Padilla, a world-champion Greenland kayaker, at the Kayak Academy in Issaquah, WA. Check out their facebook site, Kayak Academy.
That's me in the Kayak! Hope to see you all in my shop in Langley, WA.
